special to pray for, especially in the light of our national situation.

MYSTERIES OF PEACE
The First Mystery: The Peace of the Incarnation
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host,
praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on
earth peace among those whom God favors." Luke 2:13-14
The Second Mystery: The Peace of the Beatitudes
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
Matthew 5:9
The Third Mystery: The Peace of Christ
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you
as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let
them be afraid." John 14:27
The Fourth Mystery: The Peace of the Resurrection
Jesus came and stood among (the disciples) and said, "Peace be with
you." After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then
the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them
again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you."
John 20: 19-21
The Fifth Mystery: The Peace of Recognition
Simeon took (the infant Jesus) into his arms and blessed God, saying:
"Master, now you are dismissing your servant in peace, according to your
word: for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in
the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and
the glory to your people Israel." Luke 2:29-32
